...Evil is pain...If we think of all pain as Self-chosen, wouldn't sadomasochism (named from the Marquis de Sade and Leopold von Sacher-Masoch) actually be an extreme form of, dare we say it, Pleasure? Because, ultimately, it would be God (the true Self) who suffers (LIKE Christ suffered His "Passion").  From THIS angle (The Supreme Being of Divine Love) then, pain could be an extreme form of Pleasure (like when we say things like "Hurts so good", "Cruel to be kind", and speak of "Tough Love")...

...Having philosophically explained the existence of God and the Afterlife (to my satisfaction, and I'm probably more cynical than anyone, please see my earlier blogs) I find an amazing lack of comprehension and imagination among atheists. The inescapable conclusion is that since atheists don't believe in God (their true Self) then atheists don't believe in themselves! Try reasoning with one and you'll see.

     What atheists REALLY seem concerned about is the suffering and misery of human existence (some may call it existentialism) and how a loving God could allow this. What atheists don't understand is that we may choose TO suffer, as well as enjoy our unique passions. Buddha taught that life is suffering. Christ (Whom many call God) CHOSE to suffer on a cross. We ALL feel the increasing entropy, misery and chaos inherent in evolution (I call it evilution). Hindu's call it the Kaliyuga Age, this "evil generation" in Cosmic time. It is a (wicked) game.

     THIS life plays the game of Yin and Yang...so my solution is for atheists to read this and begin the philosophical process of enlightenment...

Hyperreality?

  ...Some recommended scientific names for the Supreme BEING of Religion could be the Hyperreality or Superreality, Hyperbeing or even Superbeing.  Humans being the myopic creatures that we are need to see the bigger (scientific) picture!

     From the book "Beyond Einstein" by Michio Kaku and Jennifer Thompson:

     When we unravel a four-dimensional hypercube, we create a series of three-dimensional cubes arranged in a cross-like configuration, called a tesserack (Perhaps the most famous illustration of a tesserack is found in Salvador Dali's painting of the crucifixion of Christ, which is on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.  In the painting Mary Magdalene is looking up at Christ, who is suspended in midair in front of a series of cubes arranged in the shape of a cross.  Upon close inspection, one can see that the cross is not a cross at all, but rather an unraveled hypercube).





     Since Hyperspace and Hypertime also seem to be hot topics, perhaps IT (the Supreme BEING) should be scientifically called the Hyperreality (which would, indeed, include our Multiverse):

  ...I seriously suggest that the Catholic Church stops trying to sweep sexual abuse cases under the rug.  Those priesthoods should be terminated.  Period.  ZERO TOLERANCE!  Taking a pro-active stand against this problem there should be no more enforced celibacy as that rule should be eliminated or relaxed (exceptions could be made for Cardinals, like Swami's?)...And what about the Ordination of women, as priestesses?

...The philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche once famously (or infamously) declared that "God is dead".  Now, it is not God who is dead but the devil (Hollywood notwithstanding).  Yes, religion can become outdated, fanatical and destructive.  This is what atheists clamor against and I agree on those points but humans are mainly Spiritual beings whether you understand this or not.  Religion deals with this human Spirit and the human Spirit cannot be denied! 

...The Bible itself states that God creates evil (Isaiah 45:5-7).  Psalm 74:16 says "Yours is the day and Yours the night; You fashioned the moon and the Sun".  No devil.  God.  The mystery is how do we humans deal (play the game) with God?
