Isis is the Egyptian Goddess of Magic and Life

of Fertility and Motherhood

She has been called the Divine Mother of the Universe

probably even influencing reverence for the Madonna

ISIL stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant

(an extremist terror organization)

The two should NOT be confused!

Unconscious (or conscious) bigotry should not be tolerated

so I applaud President Obama's usage of this terminology
