The Greatest Rock Song Ever?

"Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin remains a rock masterpiece to this day.  Probably loved and known by more people than any other rock song ever, it's theme remains timeless (The Song Remains The Same).  Perhaps overplayed, yes, and even undervalued, it's greatness appears to increase (As Time Goes By)...

"And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul
There walks a lady we all know
who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold
And if you listen very hard
The truth will come to you at last
When all is one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll"

How fitting it would be then that "The Greatest Rock Song Ever" (in my opinion) could be thought to end with an allusion to the Philosopher's Stone!  "To be a rock and not to roll".  To be a rock.  A stone.  Ergo, a Philosopher's Stone.  Stone Free on the Third Stone from the Sun like Jimi Hendrix.  In this evil age of dark shadows signs of the "White Light" at the end of the tunnel abound and now are confirmed...everything still turns to gold.  "The truth will come to you at last.  When all is one and one is all".  Here is one live version of "Stairway to Heaven" for you to consider:
